why this work

The practitioner behind the practice.

More than two decades of corporate and agency work gave Jonathan a deep understanding of how communication systems work at scale. A period of significant personal change — loss, rebuilding, and a sustained engagement with contemplative and spiritual practice — gave him a different kind of understanding: what it actually feels like to do work that matters, and how hard it is to talk about it clearly.

The gap he kept seeing

Spiritual wellness practitioners consistently produce meaningful work — and consistently struggle to communicate it in ways that build trust with people who haven't yet experienced it. The gap isn't effort or authenticity. It's the absence of a clear, honest client journey.

What the work actually requires

Translating subtle or complex work into language people can understand — without flattening it, overstating it, or making it sound like something it isn't — is a specific skill. It requires both genuine respect for the work and the discipline to communicate it clearly. That combination is what Sacred Marketing Systems is built around.

A note on fit

This practice is not for everyone, and Jonathan is not trying to be. If you are looking for high-pressure tactics, manufactured urgency, or a marketer who will tell you what you want to hear — this is not the right fit. If you want someone who will engage seriously with your work and help you communicate it with integrity, it might be.

With care,

Jonathan Brambles

Sacred Marketing Systems

the origin

How we got here.

2005

The Foundation

Began architecting lifecycle automation systems at Move Inc. — one of the earliest practitioners of behavioral email sequencing and CRM infrastructure in the industry. This is where systems thinking was forged: not campaigns, but ecosystems.

2008

Scale at Affinity Group

Designed, coded, and deployed over 2,000 email campaigns across 35 client accounts. Developed and implemented email strategies that generated over $1M in annual revenue at Affinity Group — a prior-role result that confirmed systems, not spend, drive compounding results.

2011

Enterprise Lifecycle at MyLife.com

Head of Email Marketing for a 200MM-user database — executing 20–50 million emails per day. Built and grew a $15MM (net) email program from the ground up at MyLife.com and managed 13 international engineers. A prior-role result.

2014

Silicon Valley & Certification

Head of Email Marketing & Automation for Advance Auto Parts — leading enterprise lifecycle strategy and CRM infrastructure. Earned Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification, cementing platform-level mastery across the industry's most complex automation environments.

2016

The Agency Chapter

Applied two decades of lifecycle architecture at scale — running full-stack automation programs for publicly traded Silicon Valley companies including Box, Eargo, Rally Health, and LegalZoom.

2019

The Awakening

Rebuilt a mid-size brand's entire lifecycle automation stack from scratch. Within 90 days, 38% of their revenue was attributable to automation sequences — a prior-role result that confirmed the power of infrastructure over ad spend.

2024

The Sacred Pivot

Became CMO for a Las Vegas-based portfolio of four brands. Completed MIT's AI for Business Applications program. Recognized that the same lifecycle systems that transform eCommerce brands could be adapted — with spiritual integrity — for healers, studios, and sacred spaces.

2026

Sacred Marketing Systems

Formalized the practice for spiritual wellness businesses. The same 21 years of systems architecture — now adapted for healers, guides, studios, and sacred spaces who deserve marketing that reflects the depth of their work.

what we stand for

Our values.

Clarity over noise

A clear message and a clear client path outperform volume every time.

Trust over pressure

Clients who trust you return. Clients who feel pressured do not.

Client journey over random posting

A connected ecosystem creates more bookings than a full content calendar.

Systems over hustle

Repeatable systems create sustainable revenue without burning out the practitioner.

Spiritual integrity over sales gimmicks

Your work deserves marketing that reflects its depth — not tactics that cheapen it.

Sustainable revenue over burnout

Growth that requires you to work harder every month is not growth — it is a trap.

the difference

What makes Sacred Marketing Systems different from a typical marketing agency?

Most marketing agencies apply a standardized playbook to every client. Sacred Marketing Systems was built on a different premise: that healing practices require a different kind of marketing — one that starts with understanding the work, not with deploying tactics.

  1. 1
Founder-led at every stageJonathan works directly with every client. There is no junior team, no account manager handoff, and no templated deliverables. Every engagement reflects 21+ years of systems architecture applied to the specific practice.
  2. 2
Diagnosis before tacticsEvery engagement begins with understanding what is actually happening — not with applying a pre-built framework. The diagnosis shapes the strategy, not the other way around.
  3. 3
Systems over campaignsThe goal is infrastructure that compounds: a client journey that retains, a booking system that follows up, a local presence that builds trust over time. Not a campaign that runs out.
  4. 4
Integrity of the work preservedThe marketing reflects the actual quality and character of what the practice does. Nothing is exaggerated, manufactured, or designed to create pressure that does not reflect the practitioner's values.
  5. 5
Spiritual wellness as a specialtySacred Marketing Systems works exclusively with healers, guides, practitioners, studios, and sacred spaces. The nuances of this work — subtle modalities, trust-based client relationships, values-aligned growth — are the foundation of every engagement.
let's work together

Your work deserves a business system that can hold it.

If your healing work is already changing lives, your marketing ecosystem should make it easier for the right people to find you, trust you, book with you, and return when they are ready for deeper work.
